The Lake House Daylesford

I recently stayed in one of their waterfront suites - this iconic lake house is approx 90 min drive from Melbourne making it a perfect add on to any Melbourne visit.

I actually grew up as a teenager in Daylesford so the place holds an even more special place in my heart. Visiting again but this time with my little family was truly an unforgettable experience. Most importantly the Lake House Daylesford has heart and soul. What I mean by this is you feel extra special as soon as you step onto the amazing lake house property. It's boutique in style but grand in experience. You are not just another guest here but rather feel part of a large extended family. The staff as always happy to help out with any need you have and they are also exceptionally family friendly. We stayed with our two toddlers and we felt more than comfortable.

The waterfront suites are situated on the south-east shore of the lake ensuring a private yet unique sunset views. Alsp each suite has it's own unique style and decor.

They are so kid friendly here that we even had toy kookaburras courtesy of the Lake House upon arrival!

Can highly recommend the peanut butter too - my kids love peanut butter and it even looked like ice cream!

Everything about this place is truly magical - from the cuisine to the hospitality - our suite also had a down service each evening with the maids visiting to tidy it each night which was a huge help especially with two toddlers!

Each evening we would tkae a sunset lake walk at the enrrance to our suite - it was so very special
