A Little Party Never Hurt Nobody

And as the song goes... a little party certainly never hurt nobody!


With this Great Gatsby motto in mind I decided to celebrate my housewarming with a Murder Mystery Party - Great Gatsby theme.


I mean who doesn't love the 1920's and what a perfect time to celebrate the roaring 20's then in the 2020's era :)


I must say organising a murder mystery dinner party isn't for the faint hearted - you need to plan, organise and plan a little more but it's truly a wonderful idea if you wish to celebrate in a more intimate and fun way. Plus all your friends get to dress up and step into character which is so fun!


So without further aideu - let's get into it! I would love to introduce you to the main characters of the night!


Introducing "Marigold Hart" aka - me :) the socialite and Gossip Queen - charismatic, ambitious and manipulative behind a facade. Marigold harbors aspirations beyonf the confines of her celebrity status!




Meet Maxwell Sterling - aka my husband :) Billionaire Business Man - Ambitious, charismatic and calculating. Maxw3ell approaches every situation with a cool and calculating logic


Meet Vivian Malone - aka my dear friend Carla - Great Gatsby's Girlfriend and Jazz Singer - Charismatic, ambitious and manipulative behind her glamourous facade. She is determined to carve out a legacy of her own.




Meet Winston Thorne - aka my friend Carla's partner IRL - Gatsby's Head Bodyguard - Dutiful, meticulous and reserved. Winston is a man of few words preferring to let his actions speak for themselves


Meet Ruby O'Donnell - aka my friend Caroline - Gatsby's Personal Stylist - Creative, confident and loud with a personality as her wardrobe choices.


Meet also Horace Macintyre - Bootlegger - Slimy, cunning and slick. Horace is a smooth talker and master manipulator. Able to charm his way out of any situation.




Meet Clara Beaumont - aka my friend Maryana - Dancer for Gatsby's parties - seductive passionate and vulnerable. Clara exudes an irressitable allure that draws me to her like moths to a flame.


Meet also Reginald Beaumont - aka my friend Maryana's husband IRL and also for the game - Gatsby's Handyman - hardworking, loyal and resourceful Reginald is a tireless worker. Toling away day and night to ensure that Gatsby's Estate remains in pristine condition.



Meet Penelope Carrington - my dear friend Bruna - Gatsby's Head of Staff - authorative composed and efficient. Penelope maintains a composed and dignified demeanor at all times.


Meet Percival Drake - aka my friend Alex - Gatsby's Personal Driver - Dutiful, observant and mysterious. Percival is the eptome of duty and honour.



Meet Lillian Monroe - aka my sister in-law Julia - Gatsby's Personal Assistant - Efficient, observant and discreet. Lillian is a master of discretion. Her lips are tighter than a vault.



Meet Jasper Black - aka my sister in-laws partner - The infamous Mob Boss - Jasper Black is the formidable figure lurking in the shadows of the prohibition era. His names is whispered in hush tones among both the criminal underworld and high society


Meet Isadora Wainwright - aka my friend Clothilde - Art Dealer - Artistic eccentric and shrewed. Isadora is a shrewd negotiator and savvy business woman


And also meet Desmond Frost - aka my friend Daniel and Clotilde's IRL husband - Gatsby's Groundskeeper - He is introverted, observant and stoic. Desmond is a man of few emotions, keeping his feelings tightlyguarded behind a stoic facade.



Meet Gwendolyn Lane - aka my friend Slyvia - Journalist Investigating Gatsby - tenacious inquisitive and sceptical with an insatiable curiosity. Gwendolyn possesses a keen intellect and a sharp eye for detail.


and also meet Archibald Finch - aka my friend Clemens and Sylvia's IRL boyfriend - Gatsby's Head Chef - Perfectionist, secretive and creative. Archibald is a perfectionist in every sense of the word, meticously crafting each dish with precision and attention to detail
