Black & White

There is something about black and white photographs that really capture the true essence of an image, a moment or a fleeting feeling.

Maybe it's the simplicity of the medium or the rawness of the execution - either way there is something sometimes confronting and often mesmerizing about a black and white photograph.

Although I don't use a lot of them on my instagram - I am a lover of a perfectly shot/framed B&W photo and sometimes it's their imperfection that makes me feel connected to the subject.
