What happens when you put 12 entrepreneurs together for a weekend of team building?

Meet Startup Island - founded by Josh Gershon and Brian Helfman - they created Startup Island with the vision of connecting founders and entrepreneurs in meaningful ways.

They run startup retreats to places like Costa Rica, Columbia and Upstate New York.

I was lucky enough to participate in their recent Startup Weekend at Lake Statico.

For those that have never been to this hotel let me tell you it was like being on the set of the Patrick Swayze film Dirty Dancing - I felt like I'd stepped back in time and it felt so good!
