The Rolling Stones of hairdressing

I had the privilege of recently visiting Warren- Tricomi salon at The Plaza hotel in New York.

If you were ever wondering who might be the Rolling Stones of the hairdressing world then look no further.

I had Joe Warren color my hair and the Mick Jagger of hairdressing Edward Tricomi cut and style my hair.

Located in the iconic opulent Plaza hotel opposite Central Park I experienced the true Warren-Tricomi pampering.

The interiors alone and stunning entrance makes you instantaniously feel like a real princess.

Meeting Joe Warren is like meeting a true New Yorker, born and raised in NYC Joe is Italian/American and a real good listener. Trust me he is not only an amazing colorist but also a fabulous life counsellor - a trait of any great hairdresser is the ability to listen to your clients not only hair dreams but personal accomplishes and challennges. Warren shared with me that his mother was a phsychotherapist so he learned from he best! Being good with people has no doubt paid off. Today the Warren -Tricomi is one of the busiest and most sucessful salons I've ever been to, in fact everyone wants to know Joe, during my hour with Joe numerous glamourous NY women wanted to greet Joe and stay for a good chat.

Meeting Edward Tricomi is like meeting a true artist in every sense of the word. He is not only stylish beyond comprehension he is flamoyant and a vibrant character. He is certainly all business and professional when it comes to cutting and styling, like an artist to a blank canvass he went to task on my new hair do.

Tricomi is a true perfectionist but in the best possible way. When he cuts your hair you feel like you're in the presence of greatness and to that I mean perfect greatness. You just know that you will come away with a unique and truly creative new DO that will make you stand apart and stand out.

Also Tricomi has worked with all the BIG stars and his work has graced the covers and pages of endless international publications including this amazing book 'Deborah Turbeville' -Edward even styled the hats in these pictures

What can I say.. you must experience Tricomi-Warren for yourself to truly appreciate everything it has to offer but please be sure to at least meet both Warren and Tricomi as they are truly the Rolling Stones of Hairdressing!
