The Drawing Room
Finding a good hairdresser is sometimes like finding gold.
It's a rarity but when it does happen you can't help but sparkle.
It's safe to say that I found some gold today.
I was lucky enough to visit The Drawing Room - one of New York cities signature hair salons in Soho.
Located in the heart of Soho - this hair studio is true to it's name, you feel that each hair stylist is literally drawing a piece of artwork and you are their canvas.
My Master Stylist for the day was Thi Hang Le "Le" and my Creative Color Director was Mirko Vergani "Mirko". Both trained and taught at the International Toni & Guy Academy.
I had been wanting a Brigitte Bardot style cut for years and thought where better to take the 70's inspired plunge than with the true professionals at The Drawing Room.
German born hair stylist, Le is unlike your regular hair stylist - she will tell you if your elaborate ideas are doable and most importantly if they will look good on you!
Her impeccable eye for detail and natural sense of style makes her a dream stylist - Le recreated my perfect Brigitte Bardot look!
GAME ON
Next up was my color - my colorist Mirko was charming and originally from Milano. He instantly knew how to revive my hair and create a clean champagne blonde. Mirko created my look with a balayage effect and gave me a blonde bombshell edge.
This is the balayage procedure Mirko did
Here are the fab duo themselves, Le and Mirko
It's safe to say we had a blast creating my new look
